Bishop Hopkins married his bride, Lady Teresa Hopkins, at the age of nineteen. By God's grace, their marriage survived the attacks of the enemy, and he and his lovely wife were born again at the Lynwood Park U.C.O.G.I.C. They have three children Bobby III, Brannon and Brenia. They currently reside in Hampton, GA. and have very strong beliefs in family values and raising children in the church.
The Lord spoke to Bishop Hopkins after he was fully equipped to start a work in the south metro Atlanta. Being obedient, he began to pray, fast, and survey for the land. After numerous searches, God opened up a door for the birth of Praise & Worship Temple. They began worshipping at two locations: the Shiloh United Methodist Church in Hampton, GA and at the Days Inn on alternating Sundays. Bishop Hopkins, in continued prayer, saw that he was losing potential souls for Christ and sought God for the provision for a permanent worship facility.
Bishop Hopkins is anointed and appointed a man sent by God to “Speak into Your Life.” Supt. Hopkins married his bride, Lady Teresa Hopkins, at the age 19. Bishop and Sister Hopkins are parents of Bobby III, Brannon, Brenia and Braylen.

Bishop Hopkins served faithfully for several years under the leadership, spiritual fathering of Dr. Marshall Carter, the preeminent Presiding Bishop of the United Churches of God in Christ. He is presently as the second administrative assistant of the Georgia NE UCOGIC jurisdiction and since 2005 as superintendent of the Lynwood Park Historical District.
Bishop Bobby Hopkins, Jr. has a special gift, as he is anointed to evangelize and encourage. Bishop Hopkins is a diligent and faithful man who has been anointed to speak into the lives of many. Is. 50:4, “The Lord hath given me the tongue of the learned, that I should know how to speak a word in due season to him that is weary:”
