Bishop Bobby Hopkins, Jr, Pastor
Praise and Worship Temple is located in the heart of East Point, GA and is pastored by founder Bishop Bobby Hopkins, Jr and First Lady Teresa Hopkins.
The Lord spoke to Pastor Hopkins after he was fully equipped to start a work in the southern portion of Atlanta. Being obedient, he began to pray, fast, and survey for the land. After numerous searches in the south area, God opened up a door for the birth of Praise & Worship Temple.
They began their worship at two locations: the Shiloh United Methodist Church in Hampton, GA and at the Days Inn on alternating Sundays. Supt. Hopkins, in his continued prayer, saw that he was losing potential souls for Christ and sought God for the provision for a new worship facility.
After several years, God moved the church to a 300 seat sanctuary in East Point where the glory of the Lord is present and the word of the Lord is strong.
